Steven Burl Compton
Early Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021, Steven Burl Compton, 58, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Narrows, VA, was ushered into the loving arms of Jesus to receive perfect rest and peace. Born June 1, 1962, in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Burl McRae Compton and Sybil Davis Compton. Steven was a graduate of Narrows High School. He was loved and adored by his family and all that knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Daniel Compton. Survivors include his stepmother, Joan Cunningham Compton, sister, Ashley Compton Tinaglia, and a host of cousins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton by 12:45 p.m.
