Carrie B. Bailey, 69, of Troy, a local Tupperware agent for 22 years, died Friday evening at Stouder Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.
A native of York, KY, she is survived by her husband, Ernest; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Janet) Stocksdale, Union City; five sons, Marvin, Jacob, Gary, Tony and Dan, all of Troy [Ohio]; two brothers, Hobart Bradley of Laura and Ralph Bradley of Lloyd, KY; a sister, Mrs. Sam (Bernice) Darnell, Ironton; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Raymond, three sisters and a brother.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren and was a volunteer at Brukner Nature Center.
