Donna E. Flinsbaugh was born March 25, 1913, in Wamego, the daughter of Walter G. and Geneva M. (Ausmus) Warner. She spent most of her younger years in Osawatomie.
She married George W. Flinsbaugh May 16, 1936, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death in 1978. She later married Hirschi Murphy Oct. 24, 1981. He also preceded her in death in 1997.
Donna attended the Wellsville Baptist Church and had been in the Wellsville area since 1958. Donna was a homemaker all other life and enjoyed growing a variety of flowers, especially African Violets and roses. She was an avid animal lover and had many pets during her lifetime.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Deaun Comue, and her husband, John, of San Antonio, Texas; son, Warner Flinsbaugh, and his wife, Elaine, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; a daughter, Charlene Gibbs, and her husband, David, of Ottawa; brother, Walt Warner, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; brother, Virgil Roedel, sister, Jean Jeffries, and sister, Mary Ella Conwell, all of Independence, Mo.; sister, Shirley Peasley, of Leavenworth; a sister, Betty Brannon of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers, Clifford and Kenneth Campbell, brothers, George and Willis Warner and a sister Joanne Boyce; a grandson, Timothy Kyler (2007) and a granddaughter, Lindsey Bedner (2007).
