William Dent, 53, Pittsburg, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at the scene of an accident.
He was born Feb. 18, 1954, at Kansas City, Mo., to Max and Geneva (Wilson) Dent.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He worked as a self-employed carpenter.
He married Lorie O'Brien March 17, 1995, at Vincennes, Ind. She survives.
Survivors also include daughters, Michelle, Billie Jo and Jennie, all of Missouri; a son, Travis of Missouri; a sister, Saundra Phillips, Ottawa; brothers, Cleve Dent and Jason Cox, both of Ottawa, and Billy Cox, Arcadia; a stepson, Brandon, Kansas; stepdaughters, Jennifer and Diane, both of Kansas, and Mindy of Indiana; 23 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
