Peggy Irene Nichols, 82, Yorktown, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Sugar Fork Crossing in Anderson, Indiana. She was born March 17, 1938 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of the late Henry Said and Dorothy (Walters) Jenkinson. Peggy was a member of Full Gospel Temple, Muncie.
She is survived by three daughters, Denise Stephenson, (husband John); Cindy Perkins, (husband David); Caryn Davenport, (husband Dan); two sons, Henry Chalfant, (wife Brenda) and Charles Chalfant; four sisters, Marsha Pugsley, Joanne Atkins, Vickie Snyder and Becky Shaffer; one brother, Dwight Said; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Said and Dorothy Jenkinson; husband, Gary Nichols; two daughters, Julie Nichols and Charmaine Myers; and two sisters, Doris Clary and Donna Baltimore.
Services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Calling will be at Parson Mortuary from 12:00 noon on Monday until time of service.
