"The families of J.N. Sanders, Dr. H. L. Sanders, J.W. Sanders, Lelia Sanders, E.C. Smith, and D. E. Snokes have been bereaved by the death of their mother and mother-in-law, Mrs. Catherine A, Sanders, who died at her home in Leesville, aged seventy-seven. Mrs. Sanders was the wife of one of the early settlers in Leesville, known by almost all the residents of this city, and highly esteemed for her amiable and noble qualities."
