Pam was born on March 19, 1949, to James and Wilma Elizabeth (Blythe) Kelly in Albia, IA. She attended school in Albia and later worked at Ragtime Industries in Albia for many years, assembling mouse and rat traps for Kness Manufacturing. Upon retiring from Ragtime, Pam then attended Day Hab where she participated in many different activities with her friends.
Pam was very social and loved to visit with others. She enjoyed dances held for different occasions at Monroe County Professional Management. She had collections of all sorts, including pens, matchbooks, and salt and pepper shakers. She enjoyed working with beads for craft projects, adult coloring books, and watching Little House on the Prairie. Pam adored her family and cherished the time spent with them, especially her nieces and nephews.
Pam is survived by her brothers, Mike (Sharon) Blythe of Clermont, FL and Tim (Lora) Kelly of Centerville, IA; a brother-in-law, Bob Heffron of Albia; and her cousin, Jean (Max) Cousins. Pam is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Wilma Kelly; 2 sisters, Beth Kelly and Susan Templin; and a brother, Tom Kelly.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the Tharp Funeral Home in Albia with Pam's family present to greet family and friends. Burial will follow the visitation at Highland Cemetery in Mystic, IA.
A memorial has been established to Ragtime Industries in Albia.
