Death of Mrs. James R. Welch.
the death of Mrs. Mary Welch, wife of Mr. James R. Welch, occurred at 4 o'clock this morning at the residence on east Main street after a brief illness. Mrs. Welch was born in Trimble county, Ky., but has been a resident of Madison for a number of years and had many friends who will be pained to learn of her demise. Besides the husband she survived by eleven children.
The time of the funeral has not been decided.
