Potsdam - Funeral Services for Donald F. Murray, 64, of RFD 4, Potsdam were held at 9am Saturday, Nov 16th, 1985 at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood with the Rev. Douglas Fowler, officiating.

The Buck Funeral Home in Norwood was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Murray died Friday Nov 15th, 1985 at Canton Potsdam Hospital after being stricken at his home.

Surviving are his wife Blanche, a son Phillip Murray, Rochester, three daughters: Mrs. Blaire (Lois) Russell, Potsdam; Mrs. Ronald (Kaye) Russell, Virginia Beach, VA; Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Gonyea, Gouverneur; four brothers: Rodney, Reginald, Dean Murray all of Norwood, Russell Murray of Potsdam and a sister Mrs. Rene (Jean) Pelletier of Norwood and six grandchildren.

Donald was born in Norwood on October 1, 1921 son of Earl Murray and Gertrude Henderson Murray. He married Blance Vincent in Norwood on July 18, 1942. He was employed by ALCOA for 38 years, retired in 1979.

Donald was a member of the Norwood American Legion, a World War II veteran and a member of the St. Regis Hunting Club.
