Mrs Louise Cotton Browne 84 of 5100 Sharon Road died March 27 1991 at Presbyterian Hospital She was born July 30 1906 in Mountville GA and was the daughter of the late Jennie Towns and Hunter Darling Cotton Mrs Browne was a homemaker and moved to Charlotte from Columbia SC in 1976 She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the Lydia Bible Class Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday March 29 from the Gordon Weekly Chapel of Providence Baptist Church conducted by Dr W Henry Crouch and Dr William P Wood Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery She is survived by her son Herbert Howard Browne Jr and his wife Frances Gilbert Browne of Charlotte NC sister Mrs Frances C Cheshire of Moultrie GA three grandsons Herbert Howard Browne III John Gilbert Browne and Paul Pressly Browne She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Howard Browne on January) 1978 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church 4921 Randolph Road Charlotte NC 28211 or Sharon Towers 5100 Sharon Road Charlotte NC 28210 Harry and Bryant Company is serving the family of Mrs Browne
