His Indian name iishchiilush “The One that was Bought” was given to him by Wales BullTail. He was a member of the Ties the Bundle and Child of Big Lodge clan. He was born October 29, 1991 in Hardin, Montana to Valerie Scalpcane and Robert “Bugsy” (Veronica) Springfield Jr. He was raised in Lodge Grass, Montana and Tacoma, Washington and attended schools in both places, graduating from Lodge Grass High School in 2010. While in high school, he played all four years of football with an All-Star award. He did track all four years and was proud to have almost beat Tuff Harris’s Record in the 100 Meter Dash.
