Thomas D. Knox, 77, of Saginaw, Mich., formerly of Springfield, died Saturday in Saginaw, after a long illness. He was born in Springfield, the son of John P. and Esther Loretta Dickerson Knox. Before his retirement, he was employed by the Great Lakes Express Co.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl Allison; three sons, John of Detroit, Mich., Robert of Saginaw, Mich., and Patrick of Hemlock, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Allison K. Dowling of Lansing, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; seven brothers, Donald, Louis, Howard, Paul and Joseph, all of Springfield, Lawrence of Ashland and Carroll of Port Huron, Mich.; one sister, Kathryn Bangert of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.
