KEITHVILLE, LA - Charles L. Locke, 76, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Services will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside, Friday, October 19, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery on Mansfield Road. Officiating will be Michael D. Cox. Pallbearers will be members of the family. Visitation times will be Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, October 19, 2007 from 1:30 p.m. until the service time.

Charles was a loving and caring husband of 55 years to Frankie Locke. Left to cherish his memories are daughters, Debra Bammel and husband Chester, Rhonda Myers and husband Rick; son, Robert Wayne Locke; his deceased son's wife, Patty Locke; six beautiful granddaughters, Michelle, Tabitha, Chelsea, Resha, Elizabeth and Samantha; five grandsons, Robert Myers, Robert Jr., Terry, Adam and Aaron; sisters, Marie Stanley and Gracie Hampton; brother, William T. Locke and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Mr. Locke was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lois Blanche Lee Locke and Linden L. Locke; son, Terry Donald Locke and sister Lois Reynolds.

Mr. Locke enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with friends and neighbors. He enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, and shrimping. He was a loving and caring person to everyone and will be missed.

The family wishes to thank the many dedicated doctors, nurses, hospitals, and caregivers that took care of him over the past 34 years.
