Ann was the 8th of 13 children born to John Salkeld Jr & Elizabeth Worrall.

Granddaughter of noted Quaker preacher John Salkeld and Agnes Powley.

Joseph Larkin's will was dated 1 May 1821 at Bethel, Delaware, Pennsylvania and proved 7 Apr 1826. In it he named wife, Ann; sons John, Joseph, Nathan & Salkeld; daughter, Elizabeth Larkin Sharples; children of his deceased daughter Sarah Larkin and husband Robert Eyre, Joseph, William, Nathan, Lewis, Elizabeth & Ann Eyre; as well as brother's and witnesses William & John Larkin, Jr.
