MRS. AGNES STODOLA
Mrs. Agnes Stodola, 46, of Schuyler died at University Hospital in Omaha, Aug. 24. She had been a semi-invalid for several years.
The Rev. Clarence W. Newquist officiated at the funeral service at the Svoboda Funeral Home, Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Burial was in Schuyler Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Edward Houfek, Leonard Seckman, Martin Kral, Arthur Dubsky, Edward Ternes and Bohous Sindelar.
Mrs. Stodola, the former Agnes Koubik, daughter of Joseph and Mary Rezek Koubik, was born Oct. 30, 1910, in Saunders County. Her marriage to Joseph Stodola took place Jan. 17, 1933. She had lived with her mother in Schuyler since 1951.
Other survivors are a son and daughter, Alvin and Marguerite Stodola of Clarkson, and two sisters, Marie, Mrs. Joseph L. Moravek of Schuyler, and Frances, Mrs. Edward Fendrick of Gold Beach, Calif.
Her father preceded her in death in 1946.
