Daniel W. Wahlberg, Jr., a former Rock Island resident, died at Bethphage mission, Axtell, Neb., Sunday afternoon. Death resulted from complications following a 4-year illness.
He was born in Rock Island Sept. 8, 1923, a son of Theresa and Daniel Wahlberg.
Surviving are his parents, who reside in Los Angeles, and a brother, Andrew N. Wahlberg, Davenport.
