Mr. Allred died Oct. 21, 2007, in a Tyler hospice.
He was born Oct. 5, 1916, in Panola County to William Thomas and Nora Dixon Allred. He was a resident of New Chapel Hill for more than 73 years and was employed by Williams-Cameron Co. for 35 years. After retiring, he owned and operated Allred Produce Co. until 1997.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Maudine Everett Allred, three brothers and seven sisters.
Survivors include sons, Ronnie Allred, Edinburg, and Louie Allred, New Chapel Hill, and one grandson.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
