Gloria of Shell City, Mo., formerly of Norway, went home to Our Heavenly Father.
She was born in Otisfield the daughter of Edwin and Florence (Gustis) Jillson. She graduated from Norway High School in 1953, and from beautician school in 1954.
She married the late David Adams, having four children. She worked at Norway Shoe Shop for many years and was also employed at Oxford Woods and Mecons.
She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, going to bingo and always liked a good joke. She spent most of her time doing hair.
She had a love of life and was enjoyed by all around her. She was a very loving person with a heart of gold. Sure all in heaven will enjoy her laughter, as we will greatly miss it here on earth.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter, David Adams of Schell City, Mo., Dennis Adams and wife, Sonja, of Melbourne, Fla., and Darlene Goudy and husband, Dixon, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three sisters and a half brother, Luba Barker and husband, Herbert, of South Paris, Sonja Ferguson and Don Millett of San Diego, Calif., Janice Lewis and husband, Gordon, of Hudson, Fla., and Kirt Heaward of Glendale, Ariz.; several stepbrothers and sisters; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Diana Adams; and many loved pets.
