Maggie was born on July 12, 1932 in Silo, Oklahoma the daughter of William Emmons Colvins Barton and Earline Schultz. She attended school and graduated from Calera High School in 1948. Maggie was a homemaker, but also worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell, retiring in 1985. At this time she moved to Durant, Oklahoma and worked in the public school system, in special education.

Eventually, Maggie moved to Denison, Texas to be close to her daughter Sheryl, then later to Norman to share time with daughter Pam. Her greatest pleasure in life was her children, Sheryl, Pam and son Richard, and her grandchildren, family and pets.

Maggie had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyd a good laugh. She is missed by all who knew her.
