Frances Ann (Kovalchik) Janoski, 101, of Bradley, OH (Smithfield) passed away Saturday March 6, 2021 in the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home in Steubenville, OH.

Frances was born Aug. 23, 1919 in Bradley, daughter of the late Joe and Thelma (Norek) Kovalchik.

Frances formerly worked at the former Scio Pottery Co. in Scio, OH.

She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale, OH, and was one of former chairpersons for the Smithfield Apple Festival.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Andy J. Janoski Dec. 29, 1994, and seven brothers: Rudy, John, Walter, Verda, Charlie, Joe and Frank Kovalchik.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Thursday, March 11 at 11 AM at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale, OH. Visitation will be held in the rear of the church from 10 AM to 11 AM. Msgr. John Kolesar will celebrate, and entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
