Mr. A.C. “Nemo” Cole was born on November 5, 1950, to the late Lugene Cole and Christine Glenn-Cole.

He departed this earthly life on March 2, 2021, at the age of 70.

He accepted Christ at an early age when he was a member at Christ Temple. He attend South Jackson Elementary and Merry High School.

He served in the military and was employed at West Jackson Baptist Church for 26 years where he retired. He was also employed at Stephenson-Shaw Funeral Home as Chief of Security.

A.C. was a Dallas Cowboys die-hard fan. He was an original member of the Red Bird Baseball Team that he enjoyed with his brothers. He had a love for basketball until Michael Jordan retired. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with everyone.

A.C. was united in holy matrimony to Gloria Horton-Cole on December 5, 1984. She was his everything and he loved her unconditionally.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Mary Reaves; brothers, Robert Cole, Montell Parham, Johnny Mack Yarbrough, and Gene Kennedy; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Cole and Shirley Cole-Clark; a daughter, Tonya Staten; and a daughter-in-law, Keva Wood-Staten.
A.C. leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Gloria Horton-Cole; five daughters, Angela Polk, Montricia Glenn-Cothran (Vidale), Vaneka Glenn-Brady (Jamaal), Stephanie Grayson, and Keanna Mays; eight sons, Ronnie Osler, Floyd Lee Osler, Cedric Staten, Terrance Staten, Pierre Mackey, Demetrius March, Montez Sinclair, and
Demarest Glenn (Yannet); three brothers, Milton Cole (Trish) of Jackson, TN, Allen Parham of Smyrna, TN, and Arlest Broyles of MI; one brother-in-law, Leonard Horton (Mary); five sisters, Flora Beard (L.D.), Betty Cole, Barbara Moore all of Jackson, TN., Brenda Cole of Gary, IN, and Blondell Cole of AZ; one sister-in-law, Martha Sam; and a host of aunts, uncles, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with special friends, too many to name.
