Graveside services for Ruby Hughes, 88, of Calumet will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Red Rock Cemetery in Calumet.

Come-and-go viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Obituary for Ruby Bell Hughes
Graveside services for Ruby Bell Hughes of Calumet will held Monday, March 15, 2021 at Red Rock Cemetery with Rev Travis Euton officiated. Come and go viewing will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 14 from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Monday, March 15 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Ruby was born December 31, 1932 in Calumet, Oklahoma.
She passed away March 9, 2021 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, with her family by her side.

Ruby Bell Griggs married Glenn Owen Hughes at the First Christian Church on November 6, 1955 in Calumet.

Ruby was a member of Red Rock United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 34, VFW Post 382 and Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years. Glenn and Ruby were over the VFW kitchen for 25 years.

Ruby loved fishing, gardening, handcrafts, doing puzzles, playing Bunco and Canasta, but most of all spending time together with her family and friends.

Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Hughes, her son John Glenn Hughes and her parents John Griggs and Nellie Goad and her brother Clarence Griggs. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathy Weaver and husband Jerry of Mustang, Glenda Hobbs and husband John of Calumet.
Grandchildren, Jason and Rachael Weaver, Kendra and Daniel Meek, Justin and Stephanie Weaver all of Mustang, Christy Hobbs of Calumet, Michael Hobbs of Elk, California, Cathy Finley and Kelly Hobbs of Broken Arrow.
Great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jakson, Hudson, Ellisyn, Kylie, Kegan, Allie, Corey, Dylan, Bailey, Ashley, Emma, Glenn, and Noel.
Great great-grandchildren, Wren, Daxx, Carter and Penelope, and numerous other very special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Health Care One in El Reno, Integris Baptist Hospital and Integris Hospice House for all the love, care and support given to them and Ruby. A special thank you to Brad, Shannon, Courtney and Jen.
