VERNON FRANCIS ANDREWS
Vernon Francis Andrews, age 95, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born on March 28, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio.
Vernon was a graduate of North High School and Ohio State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
In 1942, he joined the Navy and served during World War II and was recalled during the Korean War. Vernon retired from the Army Civil Service as a Program Manager, and as a Weapons System Representative at a Contractor Plant.
He and his wife, Helen, were married for 76 years and moved to Bullhead City in 1980.
Vernon enjoyed playing golf at Chaparral Golf and Country Club and as a member of the Elks Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; and parents, Raymond and Mary Andrews.
Vernon is survived by his daughter, Susan Vincent; son, Tom Andrews (Linda); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Peterseim.
