Marion G. “Fargo” Burtard, age 83, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Shady Lane.
Marion was born on November 18, 1937, the daughter of the late Bernard and Agnes Glaeser of rural Manitowoc County. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1955. In June of 1962 she married Glenn Fargo, who preceded her in death in 1995. She was employed for 29 years by the County of Sheboygan. In 2002 she returned to Manitowoc to enjoy her retirement and family. In September 2004 she married Robert L. Burtard. They enjoyed and treasured their golden years together and felt they had been truly blessed to find love again. Marion was a volunteer at Holy Family Hospital in the Gift Shop where she enjoyed meeting and helping others. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a member of the Senior Choir.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband: Robert; her parents; her first husband: Glenn; and two brothers: Vern and Dale. She also leaves other relatives as well as many very dear friends.
A private graveside family service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
