Edith Mae Siegel, 71, of Clay County died suddenly Thursday, May 22, 2003 at her residence due to natural causes.
She was born out in the country north of Bostwick and had lived near the Putnam-Clay County line all of her life. She retired from tissue converting at Georgia-Pacific Corp. in Palatka in 1993 after 36 years of service. She was a member of the Papermakers Union, Local No. 30 in Palatka. She was a member of the Decoy Baptist Church in Clay County. Her family and her friends were her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Lewis and Florence Edna Brooks Stanley; one son: Emery Robert Tomlinson (Father Clifford Ray Tomlinson); two sisters: Myrtie Hunter and Ruby Thacker; and two brothers: Wiley Stanley and Robert Stanley.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years: Alden Siegel, Clay County; two sons and daughter-in-law: Jimmie and Pam Tomlinson, Interlachen; and Harold Ray Tomlinson, Bostwick; one sister and brother-in-law: Loretta and Claude Bennett, Bostwick; one aunt: Queenie Forsythe, Bostwick; one uncle: Elijah Brooks, Palatka; one brother-in-law and his wife: Donald and Yvonne Siegel, Clay County; four grandchildren: Stephanie Tomlinson, Robert Tomlinson, Diane Tomlinson and Jeremy Tomlinson; and two great-grandchildren: Kelsey Wilkinson and Joshua Wilkinson.
Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 25 at Masters Funeral Home of Palatka.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 26 at the funeral home with the Rev. Cecil Hess and the Rev. Bobby Baker officiating.
In honor and celebration of her life a Video Tribute will be shown during the service.
Burial will follow in the Decoy Cemetery in Clay County.
