Leo C.Rich,75,prominent farmer of the Flippen community,passed away Tuesday,Dec.7,1954 at the Monroe County War Memorial Hospital,after a long illness.Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. H. Swann,assisted by Revs.Allen Steelman and Boyd Manion at the Indian Creek Baptist church Wednesday.He is survived by his wife,Mrs Nannie Jackson Rich;two sons,Dr.I.C.Rich,Louisville,and Tompkinsville City Judge J. Clayton Rich;two daughters,Mrs H. L. Radford Spartanburg,S. C.,and Mrs Paul L. Henderson,Glendale,Ohio,five sisters,Mrs Fred Downing,Mrs Clay Simmons,and Mrs Ollie Gentry and Mrs.Verda Burnet,and Miss Grace Rich,of Flippen. A picture of Mr Rich was unavailable.
