Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Mr. Prince will remain at the Martin Funeral Home, where friends may call after 9 p.m. Friday. He was born on December 31, 1929 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Otis and Maggie Angeline (Smith) Prince. He and Ella Proctor were united in marriage in Potterville Michigan April 22, 1950. She preceded him in death March 2, 1998. He served in the U.S. 8th Air Force 1945-1949, serving in Munich, Germany. He retired 1986 from Fisher Body #1 as Supervisor after 37 years service. Surviving are: 6 children: Randy and husband Dennis Ostrander of Mt. Morris; Larry and wife Jan Prince of Flint; Todd and wife Theresa Prince of Phoenix; Arizona; Bruce and wife Patti Prince of Lennon; Robin Prince of Mt. Morris; Tracey and husband Mike Bissonnette of Flushing. 17 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters, Nieces and Nephews. His son James (Jr.) Ranson Prince preceded him in death.
