Effie Ann Wooten, age 90, of Florence, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at ECM Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lauderdale County and a member of the Bethel Berry Church of Christ.Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. from Greenview Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow in Bethel Berry Church Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Derrell Davis and Frederick Clemons.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Wooten; and one son, Carl Wooten.She is survived by her sons, Billy Wooten and wife, Shirley, and James Roy Wooten and wife, Betty, both of Florence; daughter, Hazel Miles; brother, Robert Jones; sisters, Gladys McMullar and Lora Wesson, all of Florence; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Tim Woods, J.L. Gray, Thomas Wooten, Grady Stutts, Danny Stutts, Michael Jones and Randy Marks.Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Risner, Howard Marks, Robert Miller, Jason Brown, Johnny Miles and Dwight Wooten.Greenview Funeral Home, Florence, is directing. .
