Mrs. Carabeth Betty, age 85 of McEwen, died early Monday March 26, 2013 at her home in McEwen, Tennessee. Funeral services for Carabeth Betty were conducted Saturday, March 30,2013 at 2 P.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Fielder Cemetery.
A native of Dickson, Tennessee she was the daughter of the late William and Willie Fielder Dudley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Houston Betty; a grandson, Eddie Wright Elliott; brothers, Kenneth Finley Dudley; William James Dudley, Jr.
Carabeth retired from Weather Tamer as an inspector and she was a member of the Kedron United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Terry Betty and wife Tammy of Dickson, TN; three daughters, Mary A. Elliott of Dickson, TN; Carol Jean Pickard and husband Chuck of Munford, TN; Wanda Claxton Dye and husband Roger of McEwen, TN; adopted daughter, Deloris Ann Barnes and husband Don of Lyles, TN; six grandchildren, Charles Craig Pickard; Robert Samuel Elliott and wife Amy; Jeremy Cheyenne Elliott and wife Melinda; Kenneth William Betty and wife Christy; Houston Thomas Claxton; Amy Dawnelle Brunett and husband Terry; nine great grandchildren, Madison; Ashley; Elizabeth; Joey; Kelly; Harlie; Dylan; Logan; Derek; sisters-in-law, Jean Christian; Ann Barnes; Ruth Sanders; Jan Dudley.
