William Claude Sims, 88, died Friday night in an Olney hospital.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Monday in Jean, TX, Baptist Church. the Rev. Jerry Spears of Ranger, TX and Richard West, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Olney under direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Sims was born June 30, 1892, in Riply, Miss. He was married to Donie Boswell in 1922.
He lived in the Olney area about 40 years.
He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Baptist church and the Loving Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, William C. of Olney, Erneast A. of Mineral Wells, TX, and James B. of Kileen, TX; two half sisters, Mrs. Eva Jones of Las Vegas, NM, and Mrs. Maxie Jones of Santa Fe, NM; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
