Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday, September 20, for James Thomas Walker, Jr., 28, who was killed in a wreck near Winona Saturday night. Services were at Winona Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Donnie Stewart and C. E. Burden officiating. Burial was in the Duck Hill cemetery, Winona Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Walker, a native of Carroll County was a resident of Duck Hill. He was a member of the Duck Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Mary Anna Walker, Duck Hill: his father, J. T. Walker, Sr., St. Paul, Minnesota; his mother, Mrs. Claudia Shewmake, Clawson, Michigan; a daughter, Patricia, Duck Hill; and a sister, Mrs. William Swindale, Greenwood.
Pallbearers were James Grantham, T. C. Smith, Douglas Schlater, William Curtis Smith, Billy Joe Smith, and George R. Smith.
