Jamie Britt Rich

Mrs. Jamie Britt Rich, age 74, resident of Duck Hill, died of heart failure after a lengthy illness Monday, October 4, 1993 at Jaquith Nursing Home in Whitfield.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack P. Britt and the widow of the late Robert H. Rich.

A native of Webster County, Mrs. Rich was a retired dietitian with the Duck Hill Public School System. She was also a member of the Duck Hill Baptist Church, the VFW Auxiliary, and the Duck Hill Women's Culture Club.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Mary Gail Pierce of Duck Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jenkins of Winona and Mrs. Helen Rose of West Point; three brothers, J.P. Britt, Jr. and William E. Britt, both of Duck Hill and Archie Britt of Winona; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Norris Corley officiating. Burial was in Duck Hill Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Albert Britt, Ray Britt, Curtis Wayne Britt, James Britt, Kenny Britt and Charles Marshall Dunn III.

Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
