She was very active in the St. Cloud Community as a long time volunteer at the Whitney Center, Talahi senior care, usher at the Paramount Theatre, usher at the St. Cloud State University athletic games, and helped organize the parades for the 'Wings, Wheels, and Water' festival for several years. She was also involved with several other community projects as well.
