November 19, 1909
George Buttolph, a well-known resident of Fraser Junction was found dead in bed at the home of his brother-in-law, William Zunkle, at that place last Thursday morning. He had been at the Zundle home chopping wood the day before and decided to remain all night. He went to bed in the evening apparently in good health, but was found dead in the morning, death being due to heart failure. He was 66 years old and leaves a wife and five children to mourn his death, one child having passed away some years ago. He was a brother of John L. Buttolph, the well-known old soldier and farmer of Fraser Junction.
