Mildred “Ann” Cook, 88 of Fairview, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 17, 1933, daughter of the late Bertha Cumberledge and Ross Ammons. She graduated from Clay Batelle High School in 1950. She was a faithful member of Farmington Church of Christ for over 50 years.

Ann loved to sew and cook and share her goods with others. She made draperies for Grants and Hartley’s department stores, and for Manchin Carpet Center. She also made cakes for several years and quilts for her children and grandchildren.

Ann is survived by six children: Patty (Gary) Hebden of Morgantown; Connie (Bill) Criado of Idamay; Randy (Beth) Cook of Stantonville, TN; Debbie Cook of Fairview; Jenny Amos of Canton, MI; and Rick (Denise) Cook of Mannington, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters. One sister, Sue Shriver of Wadestown; and one brother, Mike Cumberledge of Lorain, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cook; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe & Diane Cook; a son-in-law, Jeff Amos; a granddaughter, Peggy Sanders; and a brother, Patrick Cumberledge.

Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway, Farmington on­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Wednesday from 2 – 9 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday with Evangelist Randy Cook and Matt Cook officiating. Burial will be at IOOF cemetery in Farmington.
