Memorial service for Rufus Duffie, 72, Holly Hill, who died February 18, 2008, at Volusia/Flagler Hospice Care Center, Orange City, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Faith Church, 4700 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, with the Rev. Steven Lorimer officiating. Mr. Duffie was born in Newberry, S.C., and moved to this area in 1999 from Atlanta, Ga. He was a building materials salesman who enjoyed gardening, reading and travel. He is predeceased by his son, Michael Duffie, and daughter, Donna Terranova. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Shirley Watson Duffie; son, Robert Duffie, Newberry, S.C.; daughter, Karen Morgan, Daytona Beach; sister, Florence Bowers, Bowman, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
