She is preceded in death by her husband Eulas L. "Skinny" Beckner.
A pioneer in greyhound racing and founder of Beckner Kennels. Dot was endeared in the neighborhood as "Miss B" and famous for her cooking.
She is survived by her two sons, Eulas L. "Buck" Beckner and Ronald G. Beckner; two grandchildren, Roxann Byrnes and Leon Beckner; two great-grandchildren Joey & Kelsey Byrnes; and caregiver Lori McKimmy.
Friends received today from 5-7 pm at the funeral home where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 am.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
