Libera A. "Libby" Nicolini, 82, a homemaker, died Sunday, May 7, at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach.

Mrs. Nicolini was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. To Assunta and Leonardo Astone. She came to Brevard County in 1974 from Long Island, N.Y.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church on Merritt Island.

Survivors included her husband of 61 years, Philip J. Nicolini of Merritt Island; son, Philip R. Nicolini of Merritt Island; daughters, Joan Gentile of Merritt Island and Brenda Nixon of Cedar Knolls, NJ.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours were 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, north of Melbourne.

A Mass of Christian burial was at 10 a.m. Friday at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Burial in Florida Memorial Gardens.
