Marolea Cassille Adams, 72, was called home by the Lord on February 25, 2021. Marolea was born to loving parents, Weldon and Ernestine Godwin on April 12, 1948 in Houston, Texas.
Other than being a loving, dedicated wife, wonderful mother, a fun and loving grandmother, and caring sister, she was also a loyal friend to those that knew her. She was a loving teacher and had the opportunity to touch many lives. Marolea was a graduate of Sam Houston State University, Member and President of Delta Zeta Sorority, and teacher at both Coldspring and New Waverly School Districts. She was a very caring person and her passion in life was her family.
Marolea is preceded in death by her parents Weldon and Ernestine Godwin and sister Diana Marie Godwin.
She is survived by her devoted son and daughter in law, Joey and Heather Adams, devoted son Derrick Adams, devoted son and daughter in law Holt and Brandi Adams; her grandchildren Sarah Olivia Adams, Joseph E. Adams, IV, Marissa Brianna Adams, Ryleigh Cassille Adams, Samuel Brett Adams, and Holt Harley Adams and faithful brother and sister in law Craig and Christine Godwin.
A visitation for Marolea will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Metcalf Funeral Directors. There will be a procession from the funeral home to Boswell Cemetery, New Waverly for interment following the service.
Serving as pallbearers are Joey Adams , Holt Adams, Derrick Adams , Seth Adams , Brett Adams and Harley Adams.
