Mrs. Nancy Pugh, of Fairview, aged 86, and Mrs. Mary Huff, of near Asbury chapel, aged 72, are the guests of their nephew, Samuel Allison.

Condition Improved.

Mary Huff, the mother of William Huff of Hookstown, who has been critically ill, is slowly improving. Owing to her
advanced age it was feared the illness would be fatal. However, hopes are entertained for her complete recovery.

Aged Women Dies Near Asbury Chapel

Miss Mary Huff, 85, widow of the late Hahlon Huff, died at her home near Asbury Chapel, yesterday at 2 p.m. She had been ill for several months. She was a life-long resident of Hancock County, where she was born in 1827. She was the youngest and last member of a large family known for their longevity of life, and was a life-long member of the Asbury Chapel Church. She is survived by three sons and one daughter, John Huff, of East Liverpool, O.; Willam Huff of Hookstown, Pa.; James Huff, of Chester, W.V., and Mrs. A. S. Allison, of near Asbury Chapel. The funeral services will be held at Asbury Chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. The interment will be made at the Flats Cemetery, Fairview.

Mrs. Mary Huff Called By Death

Mrs. Mary Huff, one of the best known and most esteemed ladies of the county, died at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home near the Asbury chapel from the infirmities of age. She was 65 years of age and the widow of the late Hanton Huff. She was born and reared in Hancock county and was a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Three sons and one daughter survive, John Huff of East Liverpool; William Huff of Hookstown, Pa.; James Huff of Chester and Mrs. A. S. Allison of near Asbury chapel. Funeral services will be held from Asbury chapel at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. Rev Charles F. Bollinger of Chester officiating. Interment in the Flats cemetery, Pughtown.

Huff Funeral.

There was a large attendance of friends at the funeral of the late Mrs. Huff, held at 1 o'clock this afternoon from the Asbury Chapel. The services were conducted by Rev. Charles F. Bollinger, pastor of the First M. E. church of Chester. Interment was made in the Flats cemetery.
