Mary Jane was the daughter of Lafayette F. and Sarah Elizabeth LITTLE Arbuckle. She was a spinster. She lived all her life in her father's home in the Murphreeboro community near her beloved New Hope Presbyterian Church. She was known as 'Miss Janie' to the church and community.

Miss Janie is buried in the New Hope Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
Miss Jane is my cousin from both parents. Her father is my 2nd great uncle and her mother is my cousin a few times removed.
