Bobby Dean Bentley, son of the late Robert and Essie Newsome Bentley was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, June 29, 1956. He entered eternal life Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his residence in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 64 years, 8 months and 15 days of age at the time of his passing.

Bobby married Sherry Madden Bentley November 26, 1973 in Clintwood, Virginia. He was a member of the Whitesburg Masonic lodge # 754 and Kings Chapel Church in Whitco, Kentucky. He enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith show, wood working and building bird houses. He enjoyed many things, but spending time with family and friends is what he enjoyed most.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Bentley of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A daughter, Ashley (Daniel) Bentley Dotson of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A son, Robert Bentley of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two brothers, Keith Bentley of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Bill Polly of Isom, Kentucky.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, Brooke Dotson, Luke Anderson and Nathan Anderson. A special friend, TR Tyree and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

He is preceded in death by a grandchild, Cameron Dotson. Two sisters, Sonja Polly and Donna Craft. Four brothers, Daryl Polly, Mike Polly, Gail Polly and Gary Polly.
