Margaret graduated from Woodland High School in 1918. She was a pharmacist in Knights Landing and later worked at the infirmary in Napa. She lived with her sister, Bessie Dyer, in Knights Landing in her later years and in 1989 she moved to Hazel Creek, a senior citizens apartment complex. She had a marvelous memory for names, dates and places of until a few weeks before she passed away. She died at Manor Care, a convalescent home, where she spent her last few months. She was buried April 12, 1994 in Tulocay Cemetery.
