Mrs Sarah Tracy was born Sarah Green, in Jackson County 77 years ago, and had always made her home in this community. She was married on July 2, 1875, to James Tracy. He died August 20, 1932. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Daisy Probst of Maquoketa. A son, Willis, of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Omie Tracy of Maquoketa, Martin J. Tracy of Davenport, and Mrs. Norma Towning of Osage; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Hute of Maquoketa; and three brothers, Joe Green of Montana, Hasley Green of Baldwin and Ben Green of Bernard. Two daughters preceded her in death. Funeral Services were held on February 26, 1935, at 1:00 this afternoon at Buchner's Funeral Chapel. The Rev. H. H. Dill, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated and the body was laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
