Funeral services for Daniel Howard Oram, 45, 442 St. George Ave., were held Wednesday at a funeral parlor at 1129 N. Caroline St. with the Rev. N. B. Carrington, pastor of Union Memorial Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Carver Memorial Park (later known as Maryland National Memorial Park).
Mr. Oram, an employee of the Sanitation Department for 15 years, died at City Hospital Sunday morning about 3:30. Death was attributed to pneumonia.
His mother, Mrs. Ada F. Oram, said her son had complained of feeling bad for the past month. He had entered City Hospital on Saturday night.
Mr. Oram was born in Frederick County, Md. and came to Baltimore 30 years ago. He liked all kinds of sports and “was very fond of his children,” his mother said.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, are his wife Mrs. Alma J. Oram; five children, Barbara Jeanette, Howard Avon, John Edward, Richard Leroy and Courtney Paulette.
Mr. Oram was a member of the Union Memorial Methodist Church. His father, Edward B. Oram, died this January.
