His name was Alton, but he preferred to be called Randy. As a teen, he was on the swim team at school and on the baseball team. His mom thought he could have been an Olympic swimmer. He won several awards in High School. He was a sweet, kind, gentle, and loving man. He was in the Coast Guard when he was young. He loved to surf and for a time he was a lifeguard during summers. When his father was in the Air Force, he was stationed in Hawaii, Randy fell in love with the ocean. He loved animals and at one point worked in a huge pet store. He often brought baby kitten gifts home by sneaking them under his jacket. He was smart and could fix anything from wiring to building. He married twice and had three children including a daughter from his first marriage, and twin boys from our marriage.

I want to thank you for giving me the most wonderful twin sons, and your endless love. Being together as a couple made us so happy. Knowing how much you loved me helps me through each day – And thank you for the memories that never fade away. You are the man I love. Since you've been gone, I celebrate a part of you every day. The way you pledged your love for me at the end, gives me hope that we will be reunited one day. Before you died your last assuring promise to me was, "We Will Be Together, I Am Going To Find You." I said "I Love You" and I feel blessed that your last words to me were "I Love You Too."

Always and Forever, Jan

NOTE} Randy's best friend was Jesse Bendt and I made a memorial for him.
