Suzanne Swann Middleton, 73, of Germantown, TN, died June 28, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was a retired school teacher and past president of the New Neighbors Club of Memphis where she was awarded the Nat Watson Service Award in 2011. Mrs. Middleton is survived by her husband, Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Mead Middleton; daughter, Kimberly Villarreal (David) of Jackson, TN; her son, Scott Middleton of Shreveport, LA and three grandsons, Eric, John and Michael Villarreal. She also leaves her siblings, Marie Jeanne Bruce, Louis Swann, Jr. and Juliana Klock. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie Middleton. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 1, at Collierville Funeral Home beginning at 1:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Memorials may be sent to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
