Charlie was a wonderful man! He was a retired Chief in the United States Navy as well as retired from San Diego County where he worked as an electrictians helper. He had two sons and a daughter. He was my mother's boyfriend for 13 years and I miss him still. He was a good friend to me, who, at the time, really needed a father figure. He was that for me. I respected him and loved him.
