KLISANICH, Anne Janet - Anne Janet Klisanich (nee Barilko), passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Preceded in death by parents Steven and Faye Barilko, brothers Alex and Bill Barilko, and by her husband of 56 years, Emil.

Loving mother of Frank (Chris) and Barry (Nancy). Devoted grandmother of John, Michael and Caroline Klisanich. Anne was born in Timmins, Ontario and later moved to Toronto. She worked for many years at Etobicoke City Hall and the Board of Education. Anne's great joy was her love of hockey and the Toronto Maple Leafs and she volunteered tirelessly at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Anne endured many losses in her life, but she never lost her positive outlook. She will be remembered by her family for the lessons she instilled and her fun loving spirit. We will always remember your giggles, Gramma.

A celebration of Anne's life will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 11:30 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 3164 9th Line, Oakville. If desired, memorials to West Park Hospital or the Canadian Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
