She married Andreas Albecker and together they had at least 14 children, most of whom were born in Forchheim. The family sailed from Antwerp, Belgium on board the ship Emblem and arrived in New York, New York on 23 Dec 1851. They settled initially in Rome, Oneida County, New York and had two more sons. Andreas died at some point before 1870, probably in Rome. Some children stayed in the area while others moved out west to Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Cäcilia was in Cincinnati by at least 1870 living with son Philipp and family as well as her younger sons Peter and John Ulrich Albecker. She died in Newport Kentucky (across the river from Cincinnati) on 19 Nov 1880, possibly in the home of son Philipp.
